This under utilized Florida native wildflower is called Frostflower. It is a common native that is reputable for creating beautiful white blooms in the late fall. As well as its stems for creating actual frost flowers at the base of the stems. When the cold and freeze weather comes. It is also particularly a great plant to add in shade gardens. The butterflies absolutely love this wildflower and is a staple in my garden.
